 ALMOND TRUFFLES

Description:

Chocolate fudge dipped in white chocolate and chopped almonds 

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 pounds Merckens chocolate
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • 1 pound white chocolate candy melts
  • chopped almonds
  • 3 oz unsweetened chocolate

Instructions:

  1. In heavy saucepan melt Merckens chocolate and sweetened condensed milk. 
  2. When completely melted turn off heat and stir in vanilla. 
  3. Let chill for two hours or until firm. 
  4. Shape into one inch balls and dip into melted white chocolate. 
  5. Roll in chopped almonds. 
  6. Chill for one hour or until firm. Store covered at room temperature.
